FAQ
First time attending? This page has answers to questions you might have.
What is chamber music?

Chamber music began when small groups of musicians came together to make music in a person’s home, and we are committed to bringing this art form back to its roots: an intimate gathering where friends can enjoy great music, connect with neighbors, and nourish the heart and mind. Whether it’s your first or 150th classical music performance, we invite you to come as you are, and enjoy sitting just a few feet away from some of the best musicians in the world.
How long is the concert?
Our programs typically run 90 minutes, including a 15 minute intermission.
I don’t know much about classical music, which concert should I attend?
Every concert features music that is accessible, emotionally rich, and dramatic. No prior knowledge of the music is needed for your enjoyment. Even children can (and should) experience the magic of a live classical music concert, especially when the audience sits so close to the musicians. If you would like to learn more about the music being performed, program notes are available for you to read. Otherwise, just sit back and enjoy.
What should I wear?
We want you to be comfortable! Our audience typically dresses in a smart casual manner.
Where do I park?
Parking is limited to meters and garages in the South Loop. We recommend arriving 20-30 minutes early to find parking, and advise purchasing a garage space ahead of time for your peace of mind. Visit our CONTACT section for more detailed parking information.
